A Day of Sportsmanship, Spirit, and a Record-Breaking Throw!
Corrigin District High School was alive with energy as students from Thunder and Lightning houses came together for our annual Athletics Carnival. The day was filled with cheers, determination, and plenty of house pride as students gave it their all across track and field events.
From sprints to relays, long jump to shot put, every event showcased the incredible sportsmanship and effort of our students. The cheering from the sidelines was exceptional—students definitely know how to stay motivated
A special shout-out to Ruby, who made history in the 15-year-old girls' discus event with a record-breaking throw! Her powerful performance earned well-deserved applause we are so proud of you Ruby!
After a full day of competition, it was Thunder who stormed ahead to claim the overall victory. Lightning put up a fantastic fight.
