CDHS Japan Tour

On the 16th March Sensai and Mrs Connelly together with parent chaperones Krystal Bell, Luke Parsons and Steve Warwick took 12 students for a 9 day trip to Japan.

We were very fortunate to visit some oj Japan's most remarkable attractions.
  • Skytree tower, Asakusa
  • Magome school visit
  • TeamLab Planets, Legoland, Shibuya crosswalk
  • Bullet train to Osaka - Osaka Castle, Namba
  • Bullet train to Hiroshima - Atomic Bomb Dome, Peace Memorial Park, Miyajima Island
  • Osaka-Kyoto, visited Arashiyama, Monkey Park, Tenryu-ji Zen Temple
  • Nijo-Jo Castle, Nishiki Market, Kiyomizu-dera Temple
  • Fushimi Inari Shrine, karaoke then Shinkansen to the airport to head home
This trip will be embedded in the students memories forever. We were spoilt with a flurry of snow, we were accompanied by some wonderful Japanese locals along the way and we finally got to meet our Japanese buddies that we have been communicating with at Magome School for 18 months or more.

We travelled every mode of transport except a motorbike, scooter and pushbike and managed to walk an impressive 104km.

Come along to our assembly on Thursday 10th April at 2.15pm to hear the highlights from the students.
